Throughout the year we host a number of events and challenges to fundraise.

3 PEAKS 4 UNIQUE – NATIONAL THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE

Take on the challenge of climbing the three tallest mountains in Scotland. England and Wales. Places are available on our first ever three peaks challenge, taking place just after our 14th birthday, Friday 21st July – Sunday 23rd July 2023.

Brace yourself for a fast-paced and physically challenging adventure, as you take on the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales. Considered one of Britain’s toughest outdoor challenges, the National 3 Peaks Challenge takes in the dizzy heights of Ben Nevis (1,344m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1,085m) and your challenge is to do all this in 24 hours!

What you need to know …
  • We only have 14 places available – everyone on the challenge will be doing it for Unique Kidz & Co!
  • We are very pleased to partnering with professional adventure provider, Charity Challenge
  • We will give you all the help we can with setting up a fundraising page and training
  • Charity Challenge’s experienced mountain leaders will look after you throughout

GREAT NORTH RUN

Places for the 2022 Great North Run are now available. You can join Team Unique and take on the 13.1 mile challenge on Sunday 11th September all whilst raising money for Unique Kidz and Co.

What you need to know …
  • We only have 25 places available
  • All runners are asked to commit to raising a minimum of £350 excluding gift aid in exchange for their free charity place
  • We ask runners for a £50 deposit when they reserve one of our charity places which is returned to you in full when we receive your sponsorship money. This deposit is purely to cover administrative costs for the charity.
  • We will give you all the help we can with setting up a fundraising page, training and organising the big day!
  • You will receive a Team Unique running vest or t-shirt for you to run in as well as a goody bag on the day

Team Unique Kidz take on the Great North Run

Great North Swim

We are very excited to see the return of the Great North Swim to our challenges calendar this year after it’s huge success in 2019! This is perfect for those who love as swim as it involves a 1 mile swim in Lake Windermere!

What you need to know …
  • We only have 5 places available
  • The event takes place over 3 days (10th/11th/12th June). When you register your charity token with the Great North Swim, you will be able to choose which day you want to take part
  • You will need to have or borrow a wetsuit for the event
  • All runners are asked to commit to raising a minimum of £150 excluding gift aid in exchange for their free charity place
  • We will give you all the help we can with setting up a fundraising page, training and organising the big day!
  • You will receive a Team Unique t-shirt for you to wear before/after the event as well as a goody bag on the day

Great Manchester 10km Run

What could be better than pounding the streets of the infamous Manchester?! You can join Team Unique now and take on the Manchester 10km – the perfect challenge for everyone!

What you need to know …
  • We only have 10 places available
  • The event takes place on 22nd May 2022
  • All runners are asked to commit to raising a minimum of £120 excluding gift aid in exchange for their free charity place
  • We will give you all the help we can with setting up a fundraising page, training and organising the big day!
  • You will receive a Team Unique running vest or t-shirt for you to run in as well as a goody bag on the day

Born Survivor

We are so proud to once again be an official charity partner of Born Survivor and we are very excited to be back at Capesthorne Hall in Manchester on Saturday 7th May! This is the perfect challenge to take part in individually or as part of a team so rally up all those friends and co-workers and sign up today!

If you would like to join Team Unique at Born Survivor we can offer you:

  • A free charity place in exchange for raising a minimum of £120 (excluding gift aid)
  • A Team Unique t-shirt to take part in as well as a goody bag on the day
